Scratch is designed for beginners in programming. And now I am going to show you how to use it
But before you start reading this, I want you to know that you need to have a Scratch account. If you don't know how to do that then you can ask your guardian for help.
But if you have an account, then we can continue onwards.
If you open Scratch with an account this is what you will see:
Now click the "Create" button to create a new project.
When you do so, this will appear:
1.) Stage - This is where the Characters (or what we call "sprites") are placed. 2.) Code Area - this where you connect blocks up to make a script.
3.) Block Pallet - It includes all the blocks you need to make a program.
4.) Tabs - These are the different sections of the sprite.
5.) Menu Tab - This is where you can Save, Share, Change the name of the Program, or See the Project page.
6.) Backpack - This is where you can store costumes, scripts, sounds, or sprites.
7.) Sprite Pane - This is where you can pick and edit a sprite's name, position, direction, size, and if shown or not.
Now you how to make a Scratch Project and what it's parts are, we can now discuss how to use the different things to make a program.
